Business Consultant

National (Greater Boston Area)
Profitect’s Global Professional Services is looking for a Business Consultant

Responsibilities
The Business Consultant is the Profit Amplification individual representing Profitect during the entire engagement.  The Business Consultant is accountable for the professional services outcomes of the project, including delivering the solution on-time and on-budget according to the overall project objectives established by the steering team.

The Business Consultant will report to the VP of Global Professional Services.

The Business Consultant will work closely with the account manager, project manager, application architect and other business consultants

Specifically, the Business Consultant will:

  • Participate in the design phase of the project
  • Create and maintain the design, configuration and implementation project plan for the engagement together with the technical team
  • Identify and manage risks
  • Communicate project status internally to the project steering team,
  • Work with internal and external resources to ensure success.
  • Train and coach the system administrators and end users for best solution’s benefits outcome
  • Ensure that the project meets client expectations

Desired Skills & Experience

A successful professional with proven experience of 1-3 years in implementing software project’s preference for retail environments, with emphasis on software solutions which requires integration to large data feeds from the customer’s systems.

Additional characteristics include:

  • Analytical oriented with the ability to translate business needs into feasible, valuable solutions
  • Deep understanding of the retail/enterprise landscape and business challenges
  • Technical qualifications of business intelligence, workflow and task management

Project Manager

National (Greater Boston Area)
Profitect’s Global Professional Services is looking for a Project Manager in Boston

Responsibilities
The Project Manager is the primary individual representing Profitect during the entire engagement.  The Project Manager is entirely accountable for the outcomes of the project, including delivering the solution on-time and on-budget according to the overall project objectives established by the steering team.

The project manager will report to the Vice President of Global Professional Services, and will work closely with the account manager, application architect and business consultants.

Specifically, the Project Manager will:

  • Serve as the focal point for the customer and represent the customer internally
  • Own the project plan for the engagement,
  • Identify and manage risks throughout the client relationship
  • Communicate project status internally and to the project steering team
  • Work with other organization inside Profitect to ensure project success
  • Ensure that the project meets client expectations and that clients are entirely satisfied with the results

Desired Skills & Experience

A successful professional with proven experience of 4-7 years in implementing enterprise software projects in retail environment or with emphasis on software solutions which require integration to large data feeds from the customer’s systems.

Account Executive

Profitect’s Global Sales is looking for an Account Executive in East and West Regions.

Responsibilities
As an Account Executive you will be responsible for selling the full suite of Profitect applications in a national region. Travel is necessary.

Must know Retailers culture, environment and processes.

Preferred Qualifications
Profitect is looking for someone who can be a leading contributor, both individually and as a team member. Must be experienced at providing direction and mentoring others.

  • 3 years applicable experience of sales experience in the Retail or similar markets
  • Successful sales track record with value generated and customer referencability
  • Ability to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders at all executive levels within accounts
  • Interaction with C-level players.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills
  • Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with prospects/customers

Sales Consultant

Profitect’s Global Sales Unit is looking for Sales Consultants to be part of the US team.

Responsibilities
As a Sales Consultant, you will be an active part of adding new customers to Profitect. Providing pre-sales support in both technical and functional capabilities to clients and partners.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Provide and present technical and functional product demonstrations including advanced product features all linked to benefits
  • Support the sales team on how to offer and present Profitect to customers and partners
  • Assist the sales team in the qualification of partnership opportunities
  • Become an expert in Profitect solutions and success stories
  • Work with the prospect to help plan, scope, develop and deploy Profitect hand in hand with the Global Professional team.
  • Coach and Train Partners and customers on Profitect and operational processes

Preferred Qualifications
Profitect is looking for a successful professional with proven pre-sales experience in enterprise application software. Additional characteristics include:

UI Application Engineer

As a UI Application Engineer you’ll work on developing major capabilities in our Profit Amplification Suite. You’ll be a technical leader collaborating with Project Managers, Product managers and other developers to deliver solutions for our customers and partners, and increase value for the company.

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • 2+ years of additional relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree
  • Experience working in Lean/Agile delivery environments including SCRUM/XP development Deep expertise developing complex UX using Silverlight or WPF and C#.
  • Strong experience implementing UX using technologies such as Silverlight, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and XML, and ability to write clean, maintainable, and eloquent code in a load-balanced, multi-threaded environment to achieve value added business outcomes
  • Strong experience and understanding of various UI architecture patterns including MVVM, MVC, and MVP.
  • Strong experiences in developing UI/UX in a database intensive application, SQL Server a benefit.
  • Deep expertise in Object Oriented analysis and design, Classic design patterns
  • Exceptional collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills
  • Successful track record collaborating with product owners, product managers and business experts to ensure delivered solutions optimally support the achievement of business outcomes
  • Passion for and experience in coaching, teaching, mentoring and learning. Commitment to and hands-on experience in leading/performing technical quality reviews
